To promote the launch of the new Netflix original “Altered Carbon”, a sci-fi show about a world where people can live forever, we offered fans the once in a lifetime chance to become immortal Netflix members with a subscription that lasts a lifetime. To get one of the immortal memberships our fans had to compete in an infinite knock-out quiz game. Only the three who survived the most questions and answered correctly, were the lucky ones to win the exclusive prize. Without any paid media the quiz generated huge buzz amongst fans and all leading press outlets in Germany and made sure that Netflix and “Altered Carbon” will stay people’s minds forever.
